Sg tech celebrates World Environment Day: Driving change with sustainable actions!

Today, at sg tech, we join the celebration of World Environment Day, a date that reminds us of the importance of caring for our planet and working together for a more sustainable future. On this special occasion, we want to congratulate everyone who contributes to environmental protection and highlight the significance of corporate actions in reducing our environmental footprint.

The responsibility of companies in caring for the environment is crucial. Every action we take, no matter how small it may seem, can have a significant impact. At sg tech, we want to take this day to recall some of our environmental achievements and contributions.

First of all, we want to highlight our collaboration with Tree Nation. This project allows us to plant a tree for every new member who joins our team. To date, we have planted more than 150 trees in countries like Madagascar, Guinea, Cameroon, and Nepal, capturing a total of 9.55 tons of CO2. This effort not only contributes to reforestation but also helps combat climate change and protect biodiversity.

Our commitment to the environment is also reflected in our internal policies and practices. Thanks to the implementation of rigorous environmental policies, we have obtained the ISO 14001 Certificate. This certificate is awarded to companies that demonstrate effective environmental management, including waste reduction, pollution prevention, and continuous improvement of their environmental performance. Obtaining this certificate confirms our commitment to operating sustainably and minimizing our negative impact on the environment.

Additionally, we have recently received the Green Business Leader Certificate for our commitment to sustainable economic prosperity. This recognition is awarded to companies that not only focus on economic growth but also consider the social and environmental impact of their operations. Being a Green Business Leader means that at sg tech, we promote business practices that benefit both the economy and the environment, ensuring a balance between economic progress and sustainability.
